1. What is InDaisy Reader?
Levelware InDaisy Reader is a multimedia talking DAISY book reader that allows users to enjoy different flavors of DAISY 2.02 and DAISY 3 books on their iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Currently, InDaisy Reader supports unencrypted Daisy books from Bookshare, CNIB, HKSB, Huseby kompetansesenter, Internet Archive, JSRPD, PaTTAN, Read How You Want, RNZFB and Vision Australia.
Important: Please note that current version of InDaisy Reader can only read out Daisy books that come with pre-recorded audio. The feature of reading out text-only Daisy books will be available in future release.

* Navigate to different levels of Daisy books that contain audio
* Adjustable reading speed for Daisy books that contain audio
User interface
* Switching between Bright interface (Black on White) and Dark interface (White on Black)
* Adjustable font type and font size
* Automatically switch between portrait and landscape mode depending on device orientation
Transferring books
* Easily transfer books from computer to InDaisy Reader using iTunes File Sharing feature or any FTP client
3. Known Issues
Following are the list of known issues that we are actively working on to resolve within current version of InDaisy Reader
- Images may not be scaled to the correct size
4. How to Use InDaisy Reader
Transfer Books
There are 2 ways to transfer DAISY e-books between InDaisy Reader and your computer.
* Using iTunes
You can transfer your unencrypted DAISY 2.02 or DAISY 3 e-book zip file using iTunes File Sharing feature. This option is only available for devices running iOS 3.2 and higher.
1. Open iTunes
2. Select your device and click on the Apps Tab
3. Select InDaisy Reader App in File Sharing section
4. Drag the zip file that contains the Daisy book to and from InDaisy Reader Documents window.
5. Go to InDaisy Reader's Bookshelf and press the Refresh button on top right corner. Your Daisy book will be listed on your Bookshelf.
* Using FTP
Use any FTP client to transfer DAISY e-books via Wi-Fi from your computer to InDaisy Reader's FTP server. Visit following website for details:

Read and Listen to Books
It is easy to read and listen to your favorite book using InDaisy Reader:
* Select a book from InDaisy Reader's Bookshelf.
* From the Content page, you can choose to continue to Read, or you can choose to start from a Chapter or a Bookmark.
* For Daisy books that contain audio, tap the Play/Pause button near the top of the screen to start reading and listening to your book. Tap it again to pause playback. Tap the Level Navigation button to access the buttons for jumping to different levels of the book.
Working with Bookmarks
* You can quickly create a new bookmark while reading a book that contains audio by tapping the Add button '+', near the top right corner of the screen.
* Saved bookmarks can easily be found in the Bookmarks section of the Content page.
* You can delete bookmarks in the Bookmarks section of the Content page.
1. Tap the Edit button.
2. Tap the Delete switch '-' on the left of the bookmark.
3. Tap the Delete button 'Delete' on the right of the bookmark.
4. Tap the Done button when you have finished.
