Since version 1.2, miCal's startup and overall performance has been improved and is clearly faster on every device. Nevertheless, you should use a 3GS or higher, because there can be performance and memory issues on 3G devices.

Update with amazing new features and improvements.
Now you can export/send events in iCal format and add contacts to a particular event.
Event recipients don´t have to provide an installed miCal version any more to import an event you sent them.
New features:
+ export an event in iCal format (.ics-files) via email. That allows the receiver to import the event on either any iOS device without having installed miCal and/or on every other device (PC, Mac) with any standard calendar application (e.g. Outlook, Google) that supports the import of the iCal format (.ics-files). Simply click Send entry in an events´ detail view.
+ Add different contacts to an event. The contact information also appears in the event notes, so it can easily be used to place a call to or email the selected contact with a simple click on the phone number or email adress.

✗ shows day name for future days in dashboard
✗ birthday reminder is more flexible (now allows you being reminded 0-7 days before the birthday)
✗ shows weather in the menu only if weather is enabled
✗ events with organizer and attendees can now be modified after having created the event (if the particular calendar allows modification)

Problems solved:
✓ layout of events´ detail view wasn't correct when title and location occupied only one line
✓ changing between landscape and portrait week view does not preserve selected week
✓ optimized 12/24 hour support for some time zones
✓ fixed some localization wordings
✓ event move dialog now looks much better in landscape mode
✓ fixed a crash scenario in birthday manager
✓ fixed a crash scenario during click on day or landscape week calendar view
