CollabraCam provides a quick, easy and fun way to shoot and simultaneously edit video from multiple cameras on-the-fly using iPhones, iPod Touches and now iPad 2. CollabraCam's patent pending technology links iOS devices running the app over local Wi-Fi to create a video switching and communication control room with a simple, yet powerful, live video editing workflow previously only available to professionals.
You and your crew will produce exciting, dynamic videos with minimal post-production. As the director, you can view, record and edit from up to four live-streaming iOS cameras in real-time while also having the ability to silently cue the operators of standby or recording cameras to perform pan, track, dolly or tilt camera moves or request a high or low angle.
Video clips are recorded to the cameras and transferred, compiled and saved to the director in the background. When you call it a wrap and save your session, the final clips are transferred from the cameras to the director in a matter of minutes.
The rough cut of your movie can be viewed in the app and exported to your Camera Roll. Video clips can also be exported to your Camera Roll to edit in a video editing app or saved via File Sharing in iTunes to edit on your computer. With minimal time and effort, you can assemble and trim clips and add transitions and music to complete your movie's final cut.
CollabraCam on the go with a mobile HotSpot*, a battery-powered wireless router (e.g. USB 3G router), an ad-hoc wireless (computer-to-computer) network on a laptop or anywhere you have access to power with a corded wireless router. An internet connection is not required for any of these solutions to broadcast a Wi-Fi network for use with CollabraCam.

NOTE: It is necessary to perform a hard reset after installing the app on an iPhone 3GS and recommended on newer devices. It is also necessary to "kill" apps in the background before a session to free up memory.
