Plane Finder provides near real time “virtual radar” air traffic radar maps. It’s easy to use and is an amazing app for anyone interested in aviation, planes, flights or air traffic control. It’s also great if you simply want to know what’s up there or want to see your friends and family in the air.

✔ Ash Cloud Overlay - Due to the Grímsvötn volcano currently erupting in Iceland we have added an ash cloud layer that is based on the London VAAC charts that get produced every 6 hours. You can also see this on http://planefinder.net from your PC/mac. (This feature requires iOS 4.1 or greater installed on your device)
✔ Improved performance of history - check it out, much quicker now!
